Thus far these two have not had stellar defensive stats allowing 29th and 30th per game so far, both allowing over 30 per game. Both have had a blowout loss as well to skew their stats. WFT is allowing 10 more points per game than last season. Last week giving up over 350 yards through the air and 4 TDs. Heinicke is looking for his first start without an interception. WFT -3 in turnover differential which sounds bad but only 5 giveaways in three games. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/pbs.twimg.com\/profile_banners\/16347506\/1629723720\/1080x360\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.si.com\/nfl\/washingtonfootball\/news\/wft-ron-rivera-falcons-matt-ryan-nfl-news-atlanta-washington\">For Matt Ryan and the Falcons they don&#8217;t see WFT every year but against Ron Rivera defenses Ryan has performed well.<\/a> That coupled with a defense that has struggled, and when unable to consistently keep drives going on the offense for WFT, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.teamrankings.com\/nfl\/stat\/average-time-of-possession-net-of-ot\">has been on the field more than all but two defenses. <\/a>The Falcons haven&#8217;t allowed a 100 yard rusher since 2019. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The team I&#8217;ve been wrong about most often is Atlanta, and I may be wrong here again but I think they should be the favorite in this one. While they have seemed comfortable thus far not scoring much only 16 per game, I think this matchup they end up high 20&#8217;s at a minimum. They may need every bit of that as they are averaging giving up 26 a game. WFT averaging 22 per game.
