Minnesota -3.5 as they host the Steelers on Thursday Night. Close games have been the downfall of the Vikings losing at the final buzzer against the Lions last week. Things went the other way for the Steelers on the final play as the Ravens went for 2 and failed to make it. Not a lot of head to head matchups between these two. The Vikings sometimes haven’t been the same team with Cook sidelined for injury. The playoffs are beginning to look like a hope for next season for the Vikings as well, they are four games back in their division. In the conference they are “on the bubble” a game back of the 49ers who hold the tie breaker and tied with four others a half game back of the Eagles. They average 25.7 allowing 25.4.
The Steelers find themselves a half game back as well however they are just now getting back some key players and come off a big win in a division game. They average 20.3 a game allowing 23.8.
This is one of the toughest games to get grip on what will happen as consistent play hasn’t been a staple of either team this year. Cook Questionable, Thielen out. My prediction 23-20 Steelers.
