Greetings and welcome to The Griff Report – College Football Playoff Championship game
TCU shocked many who underestimated them taking the early lead and moving the ball
putting up 51 against Michigan. For Georgia they were down most of the game and took
the late lead just to have the missed Buckeye field goal send them to LA for a
chance to repeat as National Champs.
After seeing Ohio State able to move the ball it was something that last year
and most of this year we just weren’t seeing happen only 12.8 points allowed for the
year. No matter what when we look at the NFL Draft rankings we don’t see these two
a top the list but Bennett has won and Duggan showing up in the biggest games is a
quality that sometimes gets overlooked when they are giving guys a chance at the
next level.
TCU puts up 41 Georgia 39 while the Dawgs defense has been better the Horned Frogs
only 12.8 a game 25 for TCU. The Horned Frogs were able to win the battles on offensive
and defensive line against Michigan.
Seeing the Semi Final games I’m leaning toward the over here even though the under
has been a popular play all year in Georgia games. I’m not sure where the line is drawn
between teams needing points on the board and making risky plays and creating turnovers
is. I’m going the points and the underdog Horned Frogs here.
TCU +12.5
