They face the Tigers in a double header today, Tigers are 44-37 as underdogs, ESPN has 55.8% odds of a Tigers win in game 1 here. Michael Lorenzen on the mound to face the Japanese superstar. They are 9 games under .500 for the year, 6.5 games back in Central and 10 games back in the Wild Card. Both of these teams are in that position where they likely won’t be postseason participants.
My Pick here is the Angels -150 and that may be a really light play or possible just a listen because the other question mark is the how the Angels body clocks adjust to the 10 AM West Coast time start and then the double header right after for game 2. I do think that likely the Tigers win at least one of the games so the other way to play it is Tigers in both games as they are a slight dog in the second game as well.
