Thursday Night Football and this one game where I first saw the tree then the forest. The tree is the game last year, it was 24-7 at half time and shut down city 0-0 second half. Cousins had three interceptions, it was the zone defense and they sacked him twice, pressured him all night, Slay looked like they shouldn’t even look to his area. Cousins threw 27 of 46 with a 4.8 average for 221 yards, they only ran 42 yards outside the QB position. That in recent memory along is that tree and I’m like damn they beat the hell of him that time.
That tree is the last time I thought about the Eagles because the Kirk Cousins vs. Eagles stats are all the Vikings way. 6-4 for his career vs and 2-1 in Minnesota vs. them, so he was due for the Eagles that adjusted then. He is 74-67-2 for his career after a loss, and that week 1 game it was the 3 turnovers by Cousins and that will be where this game likely swings. The Eagles have the turnover problems too, the super bowl that fumble on the snap and then once again last week. Whoever wins the turnover battle wins this game.
My prediction Eagles 28-23,
Vikings +6
This one some guys out on the Philly side as well but in general when its almost 50/50 for them cover
