The Lions back in Lambeau Field for what should be a good game. To finish off the season last year we had the Lions beating the Packers in a December season finale for Rodgers and the Pack. Its a new era and no one really knows how good Love and Packers are, week 1 they surprised the Bears in a blowout, then they lost after having a lead in Atlanta and came back after being down vs. New Orleans. Love may perform better than expected and we have seen this in every Packers game this year with almost a pick’em.
Goff has played well vs. Green Bay but the Lions do have quite a few contributors that are rookies. In this young season we have yet to see the rookie mistakes which usually come from everyone at some point. There are also game time decisions on the O line and Montgomery at back for the Lions.
This division will have one team sitting at 3-1 after the first quarter of the season. Consensus has the money on the spread and money line on the Lion’s side. They will have to bring the defense and have things go their way like they did at Arrowhead, the 4th down call inside their own 30, the pick 6 in that game or the outcome would’ve been in contrast to the way it ended. With this being a division game and Love’s first primetime game it’s a foe that no matter who wins they will facing again.
Goff has good stats for his career facing Green Bay, 4-1 for 228 per game 9 TD 2INT. Love has faced the Lions before in January 2022 when they had already clinched, it was a Lions win. Any outcome is possible tonight the unknown is still how good is Love, 7 TD- 1 INT so far, both teams allowing around 20-21 a game, My prediction 23-20 Lions, Detroit -2, but I have decided to wait and get a live bet number here, you never know Green Bay may come out and take a 10-0 lead.
