11-11 College Football

The way I look at this Ole Miss team is it has a chance to be the best Rebels football team ever if they can pull the upset here. This is the first real talk about a possible upset for the Bulldogs this year. Sure UGA is thinking three peat, but with the SEC Championship still on their path then a loss Saturday wouldn’t necessarily take them out of the picture. Still 75% consensus is laying UGA-10.5, dissenting opinion for me

143: CFB: Mississippi +10½

Miami vs. FSU – Almost half the time this matchup has been a one score matchup 32 of 67. The Cane with wins over Texas A&M and Clemson this year meaning even at 6-3 for the Canes the Noles better not overlook them. I’ll take the points here. Consensus at even 50%.

127: CFB: Miami Hurricanes +14.5

Bama vs. Kentucky – Its a cold fall day in the bluegrass state and the consensus all comes in on the road favorite here 80 % on the Tide to roll as they have done under Saban in Lexington. Most of the bluegrass is hoping for the upset but with newly legalized gambling here I wonder where their wagers are really going. The early window see’s upsets a lot and the Tide have shown the propensity for being a second half team lately, ie. LSU, Tennessee, Ole Miss and Texas A&M. The side for Alabama would point to Missouri, Georgia and Tennessee which have been this team’s chance to beat a top team. All I can say is just google the game log for Alabama vs. Kentucky under Saban as HC. I’ll still take the Wildcats against all those stats because those games aren’t being replayed this is a new one and teams get better, maybe we get a slow start from Bama and they have to come back so they don’t blow us out, or maybe everyone just isn’t giving UK a shot at all in a home conference game. I’ll be fixing a fence and herding the goats back in at my father’s so I can’t even watch until I finish work but I’ll take the Wildcats.

126: CFB: Kentucky +11

Look at how much Virginia Tech has improved throughout the year it’s really incredible. They are taking in around 60 % of the consensus on both the ML and Spread its currently only -1.5, but I’ll take the home team BC here

134: CFB: Boston College +110

Same conference same kick off time in the in state rivalry NC State vs. Wake Forest. I’ll again side with the home team who is taking around 60% consensus as well.

136: CFB: Wake Forest +110

UCF host Oklahoma State, now the Cowboys beat OU and UCF played them close, so UCF is maybe better than their 4-5 record or they would be a big underdog here. I’ll take UCF for the “upset” even though it’s only one point, who knows maybe after the big win in Bedlam last week we see a let down on the road here. Around 60 % consensus on OSU.

142: CFB: Central Florida +120

Michigan vs. Penn State – This one not against Ohio St. or at the horseshoe, no Coach Harbaugh has to be a distraction. We’ll see real quick how much the ole football coach matters in the short term. I’ll take Penn State here their D played well and they had their chances at OSU even. If your feeling lucky maybe think about the money line on a few underdogs.

150: CFB: Penn State +4½

As always, best of luck and enjoy your Saturday!
