The Vols open a new season at rocky top favored favored by 35 with a total at 60. In the past ten seasons the Vols haven’t won by this much, but they have a new head coach and this Falcons team is under-matched as Tennessee should win no matter what. BGSU are to some experts one of the ten worst teams in college football. I don’t think they are gonna be able to move the ball, which could lead to one of those big wins but still not an over possibly. Even the team total for the Vols is 46.5 here, while I’m sure they can score that much they aren’t gonna need to. It’ll be interesting to see how the Tennessee coaches do things as far as they could massacre this team even if they end up getting some experience for guys almost like a preseason NFL game, because with the SEC schedule ahead they are gonna want a healthy team for conference play. My pick is -35, just a guess 45-7 or somewhere in that range, knowing that if Coach Huepel gets things rolling the Vols could put 70 up on this team if they wish.
