A rivalry? well how about 14-3 all time in favor or the Tide. The last one? in my childhood the 1993 Sugar Bowl, where I thought the Canes would win and it was the other way big time. That ancient history means nothing beyond that Miami is thought to be on the verge of getting back to that level, with NFL talent at the QB position and they are still 19 point underdogs today. Alabama defending National Champs with NFL talent at every position and most likely the back ups as well. I know they are Alabama but I haven’t seen this team do anything yet and for me I’d take the Canes +19 or just watch. For most the Tide has one of those records where they have been covering first half spread at a rate that makes you not want to bet against them ever. So if you take the +19 just know that no one in this position has had a chance against Saban and a lot of people feel that Miami +700 has no actual chance today. Bama -1200 to win money line, total at 61, 39.5 for Bama, 21.5 for Miami.
