The Celtics this postseason haven’t lost after a loss. The Finals format change from 2-3-2 to 2-2-1-1-1 may come into play here. With the next two games in Boston the question is will the Celtics win both games at home? They very well may but I think the W’s take one of these two. With the exception of the fourth quarter of game 1 they have been the better team throughout the first two games. The Warriors under Kerr’s tenure have been the best team in NBA at winning 3rd quarters leading to blowout wins along the way. While these finals games may not be blowouts we have seen that at the start of the 4th quarters of games 1 and 2 things were on the verge of getting out of hand the Warriors way.
We do see the Celtics favored in both of these games -3.5 and -152 money line. The series price has now shifted from before game 1 the Warriors were -155 to after game 1 the Celtics were -150, now we see -110 on both sides. This is an indicator of a long finals series most likely 6 or 7 games. I would suggest picking your side and sticking with that side for the next two games, as things went in San Francisco where they split in my opinion that is a very likely scenario for these two games in Boston.
That being said this game 3 could go either way, Boston is 1-2 in game 3’s this postseason. This is a tough one and if your wrong today maybe come right back game 4 with the same pick, but my pick is Warriors +3.5 and +132.
You may also find it profitable to try the Warriors 3rd Quarter money line for the rest of the series, particularly if the game is close or they are behind. The only way they will likely lose a 3rd Quarter is if they are ahead at half time.
As Always Best of Luck and Enjoy your Thursday
