TNF – Bengals @ Ravens

It’s a TNF matchup from footballs toughest division this season. Desperation mode is in play for the Bengals who with the loss would be 5-5, two and a tie breaker behind the Ravens. The money is following this “Need to Win” for the Bengals at least with the consensus, we see the Bengals +3.5 taking in 74% of the wagers, 57% on the money line dog here as well at +165. Burrows only win head to head vs. Jackson came in Baltimore. The first game this season really came down to two things, a drive ending interception in the red zone keeping the Ravens ahead in the 3rd quarter and then there was Jackson hitting receivers from every arm angle imaginable all day long in Cincinnati. That was September this one is November and with the Ravens two games ahead, the Bengals at 5-4 sit in 4th place.

Burrows stats at Baltimore : 1-2 Record, going for 272 YPG, 1.3 TD and 1 INT per game in road games vs. B-more. The yardage there was the one win where he was up over 400, last year in October they had a night game down there and he only threw for 217. The thing was in that one he didn’t have the whole corps of receivers, one thing to know here because Higgins is out with the Hamstring for the second game in a row. That game was 19-17 last October and a low scoring game may be what the Bengals need here.

A cold night in Baltimore bring Lamar Jackson who is 7-1 or 7-2 depending on where you look vs. the Bengals. Averaging 174 per game throwing 1.3 TD and 1.8 INT vs. Cincy but don’t forget the run stats, 71 YPG with 6.2 YPC. 178 rush yards for the Ravens vs. 68 for the Bengals in the first game. 54 of that was Jackson.

The Ravens for the year are going 27 per game scoring vs. 20 per game last season(injury plagued). The Bengals scoring 20 per game but only 17 per game on the road. The Bengals are going to have to find a way to either hold Baltimore to a low point total here or figure a way to keep up with out any interceptions. Baltimore #1 scoring defense 15.7 and even lower in home games, 14.6 ppg. Cincinnati giving up 21.7 and an even 22 on the road.

At least you now know what you need to know to make an informed decision on your own. https://www.bengals.com/video/joe-burrow-highlights-prime-time is the link to see Burrows highlights in primetime courtesy of the Bengals. However they are winless in those road primetime games since 2013. There you have it before I take those stats and make a horrible against the stats pick, and at least you know before you blindly follow me on the Bengals.

Prediction 24-22 Bengals
