It’s rivalry weekend in College Football. Here are some of the key games: Some years a man has been able to take the underdogs here, money line as you will and come out ahead. This year the consensus shows gamblers are not betting on that to happen for the most part.
Ohio State vs. Michigan – 12 PM FOX – Big Ten fans have waited all year for this one as its Big Blue favored here but without their Head Coach. Ohio State actually taking in the bulk of the consensus here – 69% on OSU +3.5. The money line shows gamblers are also taking them for the outright upset here – 59% on OSU +138. Ohio State has played better teams or at least it seems that way, but Michigan has shown the ability to dominate with their offensive line. I’m actually going for the home team here, Michigan has been a playoff team the past few years and the cumulative experience of those big games is what I think will be the difference. IF your looking for an underdog to play money line then have at it all you want.
Kentucky vs. Louisville – All the consensus on the top 10 Cardinals here as they have a spot in the ACC Championship Game- 75% on U of L -7.5 here. UK has been beat up playing a tough SEC schedule and I’m just gonna leave it at that. The Cardinals are a good team, who has beaten almost everyone put in front of them. I’ll take my Wildcats here even if they aren’t where many dollars are going. This is a rivalry and one where Coach Stoops has done very well.
Florida State vs. Florida – FSU is without starting QB here and they still have the path to the playoff in front of them. FSU taking in 61% consensus -7 on the road. I’m on the Gators +7 here in the swamp.
Clemson vs. South Carolina – While Beamer has the Gamecocks improving and playing better over the course of the season especially at home, Clemson is playing great on both sides of the ball lately. 74% consensus on Clemson and so am I right here. Clemson -7.5
Indiana vs. Purdue – Something to get these two sides ready for basketball season, the Hoosiers have won a few games down the stretch but still weren’t up to the task last week vs. MSU. Purdue a stunning 89% consensus -4.5 and I’ll have to follow there.
Vandy vs. Tennessee – Vols 90% consensus -27 – UT clearly the better team.
Alabama vs. Auburn – 85% on Alabama -13 – Alabama has ended up in some tough games vs. Auburn, this isn’t one of Auburns best teams in recent history.
Georgia vs. GT- 88 % on UGA -24- The DAWGS will win by as much as they feel like winning by.
Texas A&M vs. LSU – 76% on LSU -12.5 – A ton of injuries for the Aggies and interim head coach as well.
Of that group there the first 3 will win by as much as they feel like winning most likely, I wouldn’t classify the A&M vs. LSU game in the same category but then again what do I know? The Aggies defense has been 8th in the nation so far. LSU has room for improvement 94th pass defense.
As Always Best of Luck and Enjoy Your Saturday.
