A battle of 0-2 teams here NYG -3, total at 47.5, NYG -150, ATL +130. The Falcons have been blown out twice, the Giants have to feel like they should’ve been 1-1. Going back to last season its been 7 losses in row for Atlanta, since 2019 their first half of the season has been a 3-15 record. New coaching staff and new players at key positions have led to weeks 1 and 2 looking like they should just let those games go and focus on this one at a time. The pass defense has not had good games in 1 and 2, now facing a dual threat QB in Jones. The good news is that Ryan has a 102.5 career passer rating against the Giants, and to this point the Giants pass defense was unable to stop WFT or Denver. The Falcons offense got things going in the 2nd half against Tampa Bay, but as soon as they closed to 28-25 things went twenty unanswered from the Bucs to close out the game.
The Giants are in a familiar position at 0-2 as well, Jones has improved with experience as well in dealing with having injuries at key position all around him during his first two seasons. Barkley looked impressive in a few runs against WFT but in the NFL sometimes they look like they had the game in position to win but left too much time on the clock and lost a heartbreaker. This game at -3 even from the oddsmakers, and one of the toughest to say this or that will happen for sure. The Giants were 3-5 at home last year. This one is gonna be whichever of these teams decide to show up and who decides they are fighting for the win. My prediction 28-27 Giants.
