The bad news Browns for Burrow who got a win in his last meeting vs. Cleveland but that was a gimme with who the Browns had playing. Memories of the last trip to Cleveland last year on Halloween when it turned into a nightmare for Joe Cool. Burrow is averaging throwing a pick each time out vs. Cleveland and there have been game changing pick 6’s as the Bengals were at the 1 yard line, then that Halloween game which went 25-0 Cleveland through 3 quarters. Even still the win in Cleveland is the one thing he hasn’t yet done in his short pro career.
The Browns will be improved theoretically on offense as well, and this division looks to be right there with the AFC West and East as far any team can win the division this year. The Bengals favored here on the road but the early pro wagers appear to be sitting at the top of that hill and looking down at the uphill battle for the Bengals, 65% on the Browns +2.5.
I’ll be watching Sunday and being a Bengals fan I know this is going to be a tough game for week 1, along with Burrow having the calf issue and missing a lot of reps in the offseason there is already contract talk. As far as that you give Joe any thing and everything to keep him in tiger stripes because he has already ended a long drought in taking them to the big game, but will he take his first win from Cleveland at the Dawg Pound? My prediction 24-20 Browns. Cleveland +2.5
