Last year the 49ers looked unstoppable moving the ball no matter who they lined up at QB. They have a record deal inked for Bosa, Jimmy G ends up in Vegas, and it Purdy back from elbow injury and taking on the Steelers week1. This game might be more about Pittsburgh continuing momentum, finishing 7-2 down the stretch last year, only 1 pick for Pickett in those games. This one has the look of a real slug fest with the total at 41. We still see the 49ers favored but the oddsmakers don’t have then laying -7 here its a mere 2.5
One of the best bets since 2008? Steelers under Tomlin as an underdog. As of last year he was at 48-30-5 ATS as underdog. We see 68% of that early(prior to gameday as early) consensus wagers on the Steelers. As I was saying they finished well last year as well keeping the streak of non losing seasons in tact for the Steelers. I think black and yellow pull the upset here. Last year they pulled an upset week 1 winning in Cincinnati, this year they are back at Heinz Field.
